In this presentation, Alice Joy from the Newcastle-based social enterprise, Urban Villager, will outline their triple-bottom-line approach to housing. Combining different forms of tenure and an innovative financial model, Urban Villager delivers environmentally and financially resilient homes to frontline workers among other cohorts typically marginalised within the Australian housing market. Following her presentation, Alice will work with students to refine the financial models they have been developing in their own projects.
