Alicia Pozniak – Type and typology in the local housing context

Type and typology are fundamental disciplinary tools which can be used to generate new housing solutions in response to contemporary needs. We will review recent and historic notions of type and typology and the basic constitution of housing types, followed by some analysis of local vernacular examples and opportunities for their adaptation or reinvention.
