David Neustein – Becoming real ▶

While human-made materials now outweigh the earth’s total biomass, architects have chosen to accept an increasingly small sphere of influence. In this talk, which will hopefully encourage some conversation and debate, David Neustein of Other Architects will reflect on the experience of launching an unconventional architectural practice (still very much in-progress) aimed at contesting the profession’s diminishing reach. But what does it mean to realise projects at a time when the very nature of reality is shifting beneath our feet?
